The program ends up with an arrangement of Naïssam Jalals "Le temps" for recorder and piano

"Music is an 'Art of Time'" In my program I want to shine a light on the factor "time" in music from different perspectives throughout 700 years of music history. Marchauds "Tels rit au main qui au soir pleure" shows us the omnipresent confrontation of music with transience, Johann Tinctoris' "De tous bien playne" plays with sophisticated rhythmical proportions and tends to distort time. In Marcellos Recorder Sonata in F major we can perceive freedom in ornamentation and timing in a conflict with a mercilessly constant metrum, that ends up in a ingenious circulating Ciacconna.
