מן הכנרים הבולטים החיים ופועלים בישראל, הכנר נתאי צרי מרבה להופיע כסולן עם תזמורות רבות בארץ ובעולם, בשיתופי פעולה רבים בתחום המוסיקה הקאמרית, וכמבצע עתיר ניסיון של מוסיקה בת זמננו, זאת לצד פעילותו בתחום הבארוק. מספר רב של יצירות מאת מלחינים ישראליים נכתבו עבורו והוקדשו לו. כיום מכהן כנר ראשי בתזמורת סימפונט רעננה.

נתאי הופיע כסולן עם מרבית התזמורת הישראליות, כולל הסימפונית ירושלים רשות השידור, הסימפונית הישראלית ראשון לציון, הסימפונית חיפה, סינפונייטה באר שבע, התזמורת הקיבוצית וסימפונט רעננה, וכן עם קבוצת בארוקדה. הוא הופיע בין השאר עם תזמורת תיאטרון האופרה ברומא, תזמורת הרדיו והטלוויזיה של ליובליאנה, התזמורת הסימפונית של בליאר בפלמה דה מיורקה, התזמורת הסימפונית הלאומית של אוקראינה, תזמורת העיר טביליסי, תזמורת הנשיפה של ברצלונה, תזמורת ונקובר – ארה"ב, הוירטואוזים של קייב, וניגן כסולן עם מנצחים כמו נועם שריף, מנדי רודן, גארי ברתיני, עומר ולבר, דוד זבה, נעם צור, סלבדור ברוטונס וליאור שמבדל, מישה כץ, דורון סלומון, גיל שוחט ועוד רבים אחרים.

נתאי צרי הופיע בפסטיבלים רבים בארץ ובעולם כולל טנגלווד, גראץ, יורו ארטס-האלה פסטיבל ישראל, ימי המוסיקה בגליל העליון, פסטיבל שופן בעיר האסורה בבייג'ין, פסטיבל גבלה-אזרבייג'ן, פסטיבל המוסיקה בפוצ'רדה-ספרד ופסטיבלים למוסיקה מודרנית בדרזדן, שטוטגארט וורשה.

נתאי הוביל את קבוצת מוסיקה נובה ואת אנסמבל המאה ה-21, התזמורת הסימפונית של קסטילה וליאון-ספרד, וכיהן ככנר ראשון של התזמורת הקאמרית הקיבוצית.  בשיתוף עם אחיו, הצ'לן הלל צרי והפסנתרנית מיכל טל, ייסד נתאי צרי את ה"מועדון למוסיקה קאמרית ישראלית" שהיה פעיל בעשור האחרון ופעילותו הענפה זיכתה אותו בפרס פרטוש היוקרתי בשנת 2005. כיום חבר בשלישיית אלכסנדר עם הצ'לנית אלה טובי והפסנתרנית מיכל טל.

בן למשפחת מוסיקאים, נתאי צרי החל את לימודי המוסיקה אצל אביו צבי צרי, סיים תואר שני בהצטיינות בכינור באקדמיה למוסיקה על שם רובין בתל אביב והשתלם אצל פרופסור איזידור טינקלמן בסן-פרנסיסקו קונסרבטורי בארצות הברית. בין מוריו בארץ: יאיר קלס, אילן גרוניך, פיוטר בונדרנקו ואורי פיאנקה בכינור, וגד לברטוב בויולה.

נתאי צרי נמנה עם סגל ההוראה בכינור בבית הספר למוסיקה על שם בוכמן-מהטה באוניברסיטת תל אביב, מלמד בקונסרבטוריון הישראלי למוסיקה שטריקר בתל אביב ומדריך הרכבים צעירים ביחידת הנגנים המצטיינים של המרכז למוסיקה משכנות שאננים, ובתזמורת הפילהרמונית הצעירה, ומוזמן בקביעות לשפוט בתחרויות שונות.

Israeli violinist Nitai Zori performs both internationally and in Israel as a soloist, concertmaster and chamber musician playing violin, baroque violin and viola, with performances in Israel and abroad regularly broadcasted on the radio. His wide ranging repertoire spans from early baroque to contemporary music, many new works have been written especially for him. He currently holds the concertmaster position at the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra

As a soloist he performed with L'Orchestra del Teatro Dell'Opera in Rome, the Ljubljana Radio and Television Orchestra, the City Orchestra of Tbilisi, the Orquestra Simfonica de Balears Ciutat de Palma, the Barcelona Symphonic Band, the Vancouver Symphony in Washington, Kiev Virtuosi, the Jerusalem Symphony, the Israel Symphony Rishon-Letzion, the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, the Raanana Symphonette,  and Sinfonietta Beer-Sheva and the Barrocade Baroque consort collaborating with such conductors as Lior Shambadal, Omer M. Wellber, David Zeba, Gary Bertini, Noam Zur, Salvador Brotons, Gil Shohat, Misha Katz, Doron Salomon, Mendi Rodan and Noam Sheriff . Festival appearances include the Tanglewood Music Festival, Graz Festival, Euro arts Halle, Gabala Festival in Azerbaijan, the Dresden, Stuttgart, Warsaw and Zagreb contemporary music festival; the Chopin Festival at the Forbidden City in Beijing, Puigcerdà Music Festival, the Israel Festival, the Upper Galilee Chamber Music Festival and more.

Nitai led the Israeli contemporary consort Musica Nova as well as the Israel Contemporary Players, Orquestra Sinfonica Castilla y Leon in Valladolid, and served as concertmaster of the Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra.

Together with his brother cellist Hillel Zori and pianist Michal Tal he was a founding member of the Partos award winner Chamber Club for Israeli Music.                                                                      Currently is a founding member of the "Alexander Trio" with cellist Ella Toovy and pianist Michal Tal.

Nitai Zori comes from a musical family.  After early musical training with his father, Tzvi Zori, he studied violin with Yair Kless, Ilan Gronich Piotr Bondarenko and Uri Pianka and viola with Gad Levertov.  He earned his Master's degree at the Tel-Aviv Rubin Music Academy. In the United States, Mr. Zori studied under Isadore Tinkleman at the San Francisco Conservatory.

A sought after teacher, Mr. Zori is on the  faculty at the Buchman-Mehta Music School at Tel-Aviv University and the Tel Aviv conservatory of music, as well as the faculty of the Jerusalem Music Center Chamber music program for advanced players and the Young Israeli Philharmonic.

He is regularly invited to serve as a jury member of various competitions.
