Sophia Goidinger-Koch works as a freelance artist in the
field of contemporary and improvised music. In 2018 she
was awarded the START scholarship by the Austrian
Federal Chancellery and in the 2018/19 season she was
also a Ulysses Journey Musician. In addition to a lively
concert schedule with her own ensembles – strings&noise,
Hedda and STUDIO DAN – she is a frequent guest at well-
known ensembles such as the Ensemble Phace and the
Klangforum Wien.

many important ensembles, such as Klangforum Wien,
Ensemble Phace, Ensemble Wiener Collage and many
others. Her quartet Vierhalbiert deals with crossing the line
between baroque and contemporary music.

The pianist Gisela Jöbstl is a passionate chamber musician.
Together with the mezzo-soprano Klaudia Tandl she is a
prizewinner at the International Art Song Competition
Stuttgart and the International Schubert Competition
Dortmund in 2018. She gives concerts in Austria and
abroad and holds a lecture position in piano at the
University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
