Ursula Slawicek has been performing internationally for many years. An accomplished instrumentalist and vocalist, she was raised in Vienna, Austria. Due to her Jewish heritage, she has focused on the work of Jewish composers and lyricists. Her versatility and her love for the music and her audience yield unforgettable perfomances. The group Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln have been ambassadors of the Viennese sound in concert venues all over the world. The virtuosity and joy they bring to each performance, turn every show into something special.

Jewish composers, comedians and lyricists influenced, even changed, the traditional "Wiener Lied" after the turn of the century and the great war. Prior to that period, the main influences were from traditional alpine folk music. But Hermann Leopoldi, Peter Herz, Friedrich Holländer, Fritz Grünbaum, Ralf Benatzky, Georg Kreisler, Gerhard Bronner and many others  left a deep impression on the music. Let us take you on this musical journey, we have some great sites for you.
