Wind Instruments and Percussion

The Wind Instruments Department offers a program that includes individual lessons as well as participating in orchestral and chamber music ensembles, according to the individual student’s level. The department offers classes in a variety of wind instruments – recorder, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, saxophone and tuba.

The department teachers are amongst the best musicians in Israel, with a vast experience in performing with orchestras, chamber music ensembles and as soloists.

The students participate in master classes with well-known musicians, and perform in national musical events for orchestras and ensembles. They equally take part in department concerts and various Conservatory events. Many of the students won prizes in international competitions.

 A percussion class under the guidance of the percussionist Nadav Rogel. The class offers lessons in xylophone, marimba, timpani and other instruments.
